APPROACH

You crave the unique, the stylish, the authentic.

Capturing joie de vivre alongside sartorial elegance, I believe that photographs should represent something essential to who you are. They should be a snapshot of your essence and truth - at this moment, on this day.

Many signature Nathalie Delente shots are captured in low light, with flash. High-fashion glam and nostalgia, intimacy and exclusivity, these are the undone shots you’ll prize - the memory and authenticity of a shared laugh, a sidelong glance.

My approach foregrounds your sense of style and celebration, but always includes a feeling of exquisite emotion and intimacy.

From my Essex-based studio in London, I travel throughout the UK and abroad to capture celebrations for clients with a vision for something less traditional, and more unique.

About Nathalie

My images tell your story. But they also awaken your senses, and revive the emotions you felt, transporting you back to the moment. They allow you the opportunity to experience, again and again, all the wonder, joy and exuberance of the day.

I shoot as you are, documenting the true essence and raw emotion of your wedding. That way, the gallery you receive is made up of a mixture of beautifully crafted, timeless editorial stills and softer, emotive images.

FILMIC. NOSTALGIC. IN VOGUE. EMPOWERED.

These are all words that have been used to describe how I work.

You are looking for photos that tell a more complex story, offer a fashion edge, and give time to celebrating the many facets of who you are.

Emotive, honest shots offer a glimpse into the moment. Striking editorial shots bring a sartorial, fashion-forward edge. My clients tend to be contemporary couples looking for photography that’s modern and stylish, whilst still encapsulating the raw emotions of your celebrations.

Flash-powered nostalgia

I turn to flash to capture moments of surprising intimacy, fashion, fun, and exclusivity. The shots evoke a flashback feel; 90s Tatler After Parties, Private Club exclusive events, a stolen moment of intimacy between you two. Clinking champagne flutes, heads thrown back in genuine laughter, stylish dresses glinting. Embracing flash allows us time and space to revel in darker, night-time moments, and gives us freedom from worry about light levels.

Editorial and Emotive

You shouldn’t have to choose between shots that make the most of your aesthetics – venue, decor, guests fashions and the couple’s outfits – and shots that capture the massive emotions your day will conjure. Your gallery will contain both, working as one to capture the full picture, the authentic story.

An extra guest with a camera…

I will be ever-present on your day, but endeavour to fade into the background. A trusted friend’s partner, a friendly face, an extra guest. I’ll document captivating moments as I see them, and art direct you where you want and need it, as you journey through this amazing celebration.

I have continued to walk with many of my clients, into their new lives as a family. Many come back to my Vogue-featured photography studio for anniversary shoots, and have even welcomed me into their growing family to capture maternity galleries, newborn shots, and family shoots. I become their family photographer, a personal relationship that means so much to me.
